Family & Friends,
Welcome to my fundraising page!
As many of you know, I am the Race Director for the Annapolis edition of the Travis Manion Foundation's 9/11 Heroes Run. The Travis Manion Foundation (TMF) is a support organization that empowers our nation's veterans and families of the fallen, and challenges youth to live a life of character. The Foundation, created by his late mother Janet, is named after 1st Lt. Travis Manion, USMC, and Naval Academy graduate, who made the ultimate sacrifice in the Al Anbar province of Iraq on April 29th, 2007 while saving his wounded teammates. TMF is committed to honoring our nation's fallen heroes and believes we HONOR THE FALLEN BY CHALLENGING THE LIVING.
As the second oldest TMF 9/11 Heroes Run in the country just behind Doylestown, PA (where Travis grew up), this year Annapolis is hitting the 10th Anniversary year. To honor that milestone, I have set an ambitious goal of raising $1,000 to support the programs of TMF, and every donation no matter how big or small will help me achieve my goal! The process is fast, easy, and secure. If you can't make a donation at this point, help me reach my goal by sharing this page on Facebook and Twitter! Or, even better, send an e-mail to friends you think might be interested in contributing and include a link to my page!
Thanks so much for your generosity and please consider participating in our event here in Annapolis on Sunday, September 16th at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium or at a race location near you (or as a virtual participant). There are a lot of ways to be involved, so register today to RUN. VOLUNTEER. DONATE. CHEER...but most all of: HONOR
